Before The Deluge

Coughlin's playoff run began last week with match against Pittston Area, and the Crusaders took an important first step to the district title by dispatching the visitors by a 6-2 final score.  The venue for this match was up in the air until gameday, as the Bog was swept before the deluge on the original matchday, and apparently barely dried out in time for the make-up.  It's a safe bet that weather will factor into all of the games from here on out, which should keep things interesting.

Every win is important at this time of year, especially for this team- which should have lofty goals of at least district glory.  Tuesday will provide the chance to take another step, with a semi-final match against Western Wayne.  Eventually, you have to play the best teams to win the district, but Coughlin's hard work to get the number one seed is paying off here- that other side of the bracket looks nasty.

Regular readers will notice that things are a little backed up here in FF land, so the smart-assed comments will be kept to a minimum today-

I left a little extra room while cropping this shot, because of the beautiful car in the background.  Who is lucky enough to drive such a wonderful vehicle?  (note- It's mine.  If anyone buys that picture, feel free to crop it out on your own)

Tim seems to be checking his shirt for freshness here.  I know that's always important to me as well.

See- minimal comments.  Here's the skinny-
